To go on vacations is a prize we all think we deserve especially if we can treat ourselves after all the hard work! The concept of luxury is relative, but in a tropical country luxury means to white-water-raft all the way to a hotel National Geographic considers one of the best 10 eco-lodges in the world (for its spectacular views of the Pacuare River), to have a private pool in the room with a view of one of the most iconic volcanoes on Earth or to drink the best cocktails under a private shed in front of the Pacific Ocean… Let us take you to these fantastic places where you will surely find other treasures of Nature

Day 1: San José

Welcome to Costa Rica!!!  A private transfer will be waiting for you to take you to your lodging, in Costa Rica’s capital, a renovated historical victorian house that has become a hot spot of good taste and great gastronomy.

Day 2:
poás volcano and coffee hacienda

We bet you will love the eggs benedictine and the brioche for breakfast this morning, and afterwards a private guide will greet you to take you to the iconic Poás Volcano, one of the widest open craters in the world.  For lunch we chose for you an authentic coffee hacienda so you can get acquainted with the careful growing, toasting and brewing methods of real gourmet coffee cup.

Day 3:
PACUARE RIVER EXPERIENCE

Early morning you’ll start on a 2-day adventure at the Pacuare River.  Rafting in its white water you’ll arrive to arguably one of the most paradisiac places in our land.  The Pacuare Lodge has been catalogued by National Geographic as in the top ten eco-lodges in the world, because of the stunning vistas and the luxury of its accomodations in the middle of the jungle.  Impecable service and great gastronomy makes a stay here an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: pacuare

You’ll spend the day in the midst of the rainforest, starting with a naturalist guided walk to discover its flora and fauna.  From there you could spend some time in a secluded riverpool formed by a waterfall, experience canopy zip lining on ancient trees or even go visit a shaman in indigenous villa in the mountain. Or maybe you just want to relax in your villa listening to the river flowing outside…

Day 5:
RAFTING AND ROAD
TO LA FORTUNA

You will say goodbye to your luxury lodge, but remember, since there are no roads here the only way out is rafting downstream through jungle, white waters and incredible landscapes. A private transfer will be waiting for you to take you towards La Fortuna, home to the perfect coned Arenal Volcano, where you will arrive at the end of the day.

Day 6: Canyoning

Picture yourself on your villa’s private jacuzzi with the volcano as a backdrop!  Soon after breakfast a tour guide will greet you to take you to the best canyoning experience we know:  Have you ever rapelled down a waterfall in the rainforest? Explored down a river gorge spotting monkeys, sloths, parrots and many other species?  Make sure to take your GoPro with you!

Day 7: La fortuna

Today is dedicated to enjoy the forest via aerial trams and long ziplines. You will have an afternoon at leisure on a beautiful garden with volcanic thermal springs from where you will watch a sunset over the volcano.

.

Day 8:
guanacaste beach

It would be sad to leave this beautiful hotel if you did not know that the next stop is beachfront top design accommodations, a refreshing design pool with cabanas and personalized service, and bar-restaurant on a modern palapa with imaginative mixologists.  You will be taken there from La Fortuna on a scenic road trip with a private transfer.

Day 9:
beach hopping & picnic at papagayo gulf

After the fantastic breakfast next to the pool, how about a ride on a private yacht in the Gulf of Papagayo, snorkeling and discovering empty beaches, ending with a picnic on the beach for lunch? Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

.

Day 10, 11 & 12

Days at leisure at the beat

Day 13

Transfer out to the airport, or maybe you would like to extend your trip. Pristine Osa Peninsula maybe?
